Float

for this photo i was just trying to make him look like he was floating mysteriously. i had a lot of problems with this photo. i found that i didnt line up the photo right, so grass would show up when i tried to erase the chair he was standing on, but i changed it by moving the picture around a lot. it was hard to do this photo , because i wanted to do more to the photo. but i didnt have time to.
for this photo , i wanted him to be in the air when i took this photo. i had a problem taking this photo because i had a hard time taking it at the right time. i wanted to make the background more bland so that he would stand out, but not enough time, and im not exactly sure how to do that yet.
this photo is probably my best. i tried to get it to look like he was doing the darth vader thing. i had one problem with this photo. trying to get the colors to look alright and to take the picture at the right time when he was in the air . also i had a problem with his face, he shouldve made a better expression. but overall it was pretty good.

creative controls

1. an aperture of 3.5 makes a wider hole for light to come in the lens.
2. an aperture of 11 lets more light in the camera to hit the image sensor.
3. an aperture of 11 keeps more of the foreground and background in focus.
4. 1/200 is a faster shutter speed.
5. 1/30 keeps the door in the camera open longer.
6. 1/200 stops action better.

for this photo i think the colors are just right for this photo.
for this photo, the colors are a little bit too dark. but over all , the picture is alright.
this photo looks too washed out . i should use a lower aperutre.
this photo is too light . the background is too washed out.
in this picture , the background is kind of washed out but everything else seems to be alright.
in this picture, the picture looks a little too dark .  but the background got better than the last picture. its not as washed out.
this picture is way too bright and washed out. it is really blury too.
this picture is good except for the background. part of it is super washed out. but everything else is pretty good :)
i think the background is a lot better in this photo than the last one. its not as washed on in this photo. so its a lot better photo to use.
this picture is too blury and washed out all over , not just the background.
this photo is kind of dark. but its a good photo though. it just needs more light in the photo especially for the face and stuff.

this picture is alright. could be a little bit lighter but if you did do that , the background would probably be pretty washed out.

1. depth of field i think is how much of the image is in focus.
2. if it is cloudy out. so it will let more light in.
3. different shutter speeds can affect my images.  if you have for example 1/10 of a second while your outside it will be too washed out.

patterns

this is one of my natural pattern photos. i like what i did in this photo. i grabbed a whole different color leaf so it would break the pattern. also i like the colors in this photo.
this photo is of a man made pattern. I like this photo because this photo is different than what people normally think is a pattern.
this picture is also man made . i like the pattern in this photo; how all the trash cans are patterned up by their color.
this photo is natural pattern . but also can be man made i guess. i like this photo mostly because of the colors that are brought out .

i think im doing alright with the picture taking, although , i seem to not take enough photos . but overall the pictures are pretty good.  with our next project , my goal is to get a better variaty of pictures, and to take more than enough so i can pick which ones are the overall best. i think mr. peterson can help me succeed in this class by being on top of me for assignments, or reminding me about stuff, because i seem to forget sometimes. although it is not his responsibility for nagging me for that stuff,  and other thing he could possibly do is give us some things to do for extra credit for the people who want to get better grades.

photoshop tutorials

this picture is of using the vintage affect. basically all i did was make a few layers and changed the colors in the photo. and paste a background picture to make it look more vintage like. i think this was probably the easiest effect out of all the ones we had to do . my favorite part of this image is just the picture itself .. i managed to get a picture of the teacher . also i like the colors in this photo and i like the way it looks.
this is my half human half animal face. i used my picture (which looks horrible by the way) and i got a picture of a lion and pasted it one there , and with photoshop , i lined up the two pictures and used the brush to erase part of the face so it becomes half human half animal. i think this was one of the harder ones out of all of the effects. my favorite part of this picture is the was it looks and the outcome of this one.
this picture is one i morphed my face into . i pasted my face onto the animals and started messing with the opasity and erasing the lips and eyes to reveal my own.  this was probably the hardest to figure out to do.  my favorite part of this picture is the outcome of it , and i like the bear picture that i used.
this picture is half animal half human. as i said in the previous photo of half human half animal, i pasted the picture of the animal and changed the opasity and used the mask to erase part of the animal so it would be only half. this was the most fun effect . i mostly like the colors and the outcome of this photo.
this picture is the drawing effect. on this photo , all i had to do is , change the filters and other stuff. i like this effect just because its cool .
this picture is also of the drawing effect. as i said before , all i did was paste the picture, and change some filters on it . this one i made of the drawing effect is probably my least favorite out of all the ones i did.
mythis picture is of the vintage effect. all i had to do was add a few layers and changed some colors in the photo, also i pasted a background to make it look old and more vintage like. this picture is one  of my favorites.
thsi photo is also of the drawing effect. as i said before, all i had to do was change the filters and add some layers and that about all. it was pretty easy .  this picture i made was probably my favorite of the drawing effects.
this photo is me as a fox. what i did was get the picture , paste it , move my face around to fit the picture and line up. this is my favorite of of this animal effect. this one was probably my most successful picture.

this photo is me as an animal. whar i did was paster my face and mess with the opasity and change a couple other things. this was probably my worst edit out of all of mine. i didnt have much time so that is why this picture doesnt look as good as it couldve been.

personal composition

lines^   well the point of interest is going down the photo by the lines..  originally i was just taking photos at a bunch of different angles. i think this a propper example of using lines effectively. i could imrove the angle i take it in, and take time to take the picture so it wont come out blury.
lines^  the lines are leading out towards the grass. i got down on the ground and took a bunch of pictures. i think this is a good example of using lines effectively. i could have waited for those people to move before i took the picture, so they wouldnt be in the middle of it .
fill the frame^  this picture is close to the objects face. so it takes up the whole picture. this is a strong example of fill the frame because fill the frame is just a part of an object so you can see its details. i could probably improve the picture by taking another one like this , because this picture is blury.
rule of thirds^  this picture is of rule of thirds.  the main subject of this picture is the dog in the side of the photo. this is a strong example of rule of thirds because for rule of thirds, it should be at a corner , so its more interesting. i could improve this picture by bluring out the background.
rule of thirds^   this is an example of rule of thirds. just like the last picture, the main subject is the dog on the side. this is a strong example of rule of thirds because of how the dog is at one of the corners of the picture. one thing i could do to improve this photo is, to crop my hand out of it.
fill the frame^  this picture is an example of fill the frame. what i did to get this photo the way it is , is get on the ground and take a bunch of shots at different angles and close up to the object. this is a strong example of fill the frame because for fill the frame , your supposed to have it close enough to see all the little details in the picture. one thing i can improve on this photo is to make it less blury .

composition

fill the frame^       For fill the frame, what the photographer does is , they take close up shots to where you can only see the details of the picture and it fills up the whole picture, just like the one above. I like how they take these pictures. I like being able to only see the details of the picture. :)
rule of thirds^  For rule of thirds, what the photographer does is , they take pictures more towards the side , like the picture above. its not like your normal picture that is straight on , I think its more interesting doing pictures like this. :D
lines^ For lines, the photographer takes a picture of lines that grabs your attention and pulls you to that is beyond those lines.  i think this technique is one of my favorites.
